I should've used lube when shoving them back in there. I was holding out hope for the original plastic inserts not to give way since I had no luck finding replacements previously.
Oh well, can somebody lemme know if these are the right injector-shroud-inserts for the KX motor?
Fuel Injector Inserts 063133555 NOS Set of 5 – Quattroholics
They look correct but I've ordered the wrong shrouds once before.

Ah thanks, ended up finding the lower plastic pieces from several vendors online. For anybody in the future who needs these, PN is 035 133 554, which will yield some results when searched through google or ebay.
