Default I need to replace the temp sensor...

that goes to the ECU.

Does this look like the right part?

Thermo-Time Switch; Brown with 2 Pin Connector; 15 Degree C, 8 second
Part # 0280 130 219

From the description, (not the part number), that sounds like the trigger for the cold start injector (It's either on, or off. TImes out after a few seconds or cranking, depending on engine temp).

You want the sensor that's a variable resitor, depending on temperature...

at least for the 5 cyl CGT/4KQS.
