if doing a 5k to 4k turbo swap it does it matter if the engine comes out of a 2dw vs quattro

and where exactly is it located? I'm just kinda curious now.

Save fumes from the gas tank, I think.
I think the canister saves fumes from the gas tank, then vents them into the intake under certain conditions.
It's up in the area of the intake, underneath, maybe inside the fender somewhere or the right side.
Not easy to see, anyway.
