Default Ignition switch RR, need help

Attempted to do this today, but couldnt figure out a few things, heres what I did.
Removed steering wheel and lower console area for more room. Removed 3 long screws that appear to hold on the wiper/turn signal stalks. Removed one large allen bolt and 2 other screws that hold the lower steering column cover on, and removed cover. I removed the drivers seat too, so I could lay on my back and look up there.
I see the silly switch, I unhooked it, but cant tell how it comes out. It would help if I could get the turn signal/wiper stalk out of the way, but I cant figure out how it comes off, it seems to be hanging up on something. I disconnected all wiring from that area, but still cannot tell whats up.
Any help on this? It appeared to be a simple RR, but I put everything back together as I figured Id mess with it later.

I did this a while ago but if I remember right there should be a multi plug on the back of the switch and then a small phillips head screw on the switch housing then it should just come out. If you're talking about the key lock cylinder that's something else entirely.

Default Sounds good, but...

How do I remove the wiper/turn signal stalks? Im looking at the bentley. For some reason, I couldnt find the page earlier. If I can get the stalks off, the steering lock housing should come right out, and then I can get to the ignition switch.
Any other help or BTDT?

Default Re: might be a difference between the 4k and cgt

I don't remember the stalks being difficult to remove, they might have some multi plugs attached and a phillips screw or 2 holding them in.
So it is the key cylinder that you're trying to RR correct?
Sorry I can't be more help, my memory isn't so good today.
