Default Interesting find on ETKA

Doing some work on finding pricing and PN's for various interior/exterior bits and came across something interesting. Looked at rear door panel skins and found "Mouton Red" as a color available as of 1/86. So, Mouton Red = whorehouse red leather? Dont know for sure, but with it being the only red available, its a good chance.
Ive got about 80 PN's to find prices for now, weeee!

Default Found some cool prices too

Did alot of searching for oddball parts and found some outrageous and decent prices on Impex for things.
I WAS able to find rear badging for the car, which I was surprised to find. Here are some prices.
Rear "quattro" badge, in chrome - 15 bucks
Rear "Audi" badge, in chrome or black - 18.67
Rear "S" badge - 10.88
Rear "CS" badge - 9.55
Rear "turbo" badge, black only - 12.73
Urq door rings, black or silver - 76.00
Urq rear window "quattro" decals - 26.00
4kq protection foil (left and right)- 6.00
4000/CGT 85-87 front grille - 73.00
4000 front map pocket - 130.00
4000/CGT lower grilles - 26.00-50.00
4000/CGT alalog clock - 99.67
4000Q right rear Mouton Red door panel 472.00

There are alot more things I priced on Impex, mainly rare parts, that were really pricey. Only found that one price on the Mouton Red door panel, the other 3 were NLA. I did not check for other colors though. I was not able to get the part number for the "4000" badge either. Also tried to look up new owners manuals, and of course Impex didnt have any of those .

I have alot of goodies to buy once I snag me a job

Default Well, I did find the 4000 badge

Did some digging on ETKA and found some other badges.
4000 badge - 15.51
diesel badge - 12.35
fuel injection badge - 16.29

Under the 4000 listing it does have a turbo badge and part number, but nothing came up on impex.
On Impex the 4000 badge comes up as "obsolete part sign" but you are still able to purchase it? Interesting.

A few people told me at Carlisle that they couldnt get badges, and I bought a brand new set at the dealer years back, minus the 4000 badging.
Found it interesting impex has alot of them!
Gotta love PN's

Default Impex is great, they are local to me. A lot of those parts

when you actually call them, will turn out to be obsolete or back ordered for months. I was able to get the lower headlight trim from them for pretty cheap. They said there were only 8 left in the country!!

Default They have alot of oddball stuff, which is neat.

I think Id go nuts if I were in a place with all those parts . Alot of the stuff is crazy expensive, but hey, its 20yr old stuff, which I can understand. I priced all the headlight trim pieces and it came out to be around 100 bucks for all 4 pieces . Add that to a new grille, quattro badge, and rings, and it gets pricey.
Still neat though, that you can punch the PN's in and get prices for alot of those parts.

Anybody have a version of the FA that's idiot-proof (ie for me) that runs on XP?

Thanks

I've had no problem with ETKA in the past...just with the new comp and Windoze XP.

Unless you have a super old version of ETKA it should run with XP just fine...
