Default Leather seat information

I have a question about the leather seats and foam thats beneath them. Im going to be taking one or both of my old CE leather seats with me to NC. I also have lots of red leather from another CE car, that was sold to me a year and a half ago.
Now, if I were to get new foam (bottom and back) would the old leather work? Would it stretch properly, or wouldnt it work at all?

Maybe some quattro script seats would be better to "rebuild" than the leather ones, since the fabric usually lasts longer.

What tools would be needed to RR the leather on the seats?

Default Leather shrinks over time, but I like tight leather...

Did that come out right?

Default It did

I just wasnt sure how flexible the leather would be if it hasnt been on a seat for a while.

Default Get some leather conditioner and let it sit out in the sun for an hour or so before applying...

It'll be able to stretch, just takes some persuasion and a bit of time (and be easy with the stitches as they will tend to rip before other portions). Either let it sit in the sun for awhile with the conditioner applied, or on the oven rack with the over door open set at the lowest setting (like youd do to break in a baseball glove).

Default Why wouldn't new foam work?

Why wouldn't new foam work?

That's what was originally under the leather.
So unless the leather shrunk somehow over time, it still would work on new foam, wouldn't it?

Some info on taking seats apart..
