I finally got my second interior light wired up. It was harder than I thought. The hole was cut already from the factory, I just had to pop out some plastic plug. to access the area, I just made an X cut in the headliner. Then folded the headliner over the hole edges and popped in the new light.
Hole cut.

As for wiring it, I originaly was going to run them down the A pillar and out the bottom behind the dash. Didn't work. Couldn't get the wires to fish down. So next I planned on drilling a hole in the A pillar and fish them throught the hole (near the top of the pillar). After I had the hole drilled, I noticed a plastic sheet/film, that was blocking access as well. So I had to run the wires along the felt/rubber door seal. I just pulled it off (door seal) put the thin wires inside and pushed it back on. Once the wires got to the A pillar cover, I ran the wires behind that and down to a constant power source.
My next lighting project will be to install a switch to turn them both on and off. This is easy, as I'm just going to tap into the cmmon ground that the door plungers use and put a switch so it'll ground that when the switch is flipped.
It sure does brighten up that dark interior at night.
Sorry for the crappy night shot. But you get the idea.
