I had a thought, I know I posted pics not too long ago but I'd really like to see a single thread consisting of pictures of the cars of all the members of this forum. With a description of their cars. For quick reference and just plain fun... Lets take up some room! =)

She's a slightly modded 87.5 CGT with big plans. Black leather interior, heated seats. Infiniti 3052cf 3.5" front speakers, Kenwood 3-way 6x9's in the back, love that mod. Blaupunkt 10" sub and Alpine amplifier in the trunk. And a Blaupunkt Heidelburg head unit. High flow cat w/2.25" piping to a magnaflow muffler. 4kq manifold and downpipe Jet-Hot coated(not yet installed). K&N air filter. Smoked tails. Front sway bar from a 4kq. 16" Borbet Type E's w/ Yokohama Parada Spec 2's. H&R's and Boge Turbo Gas in the mail. Goes into the shop Oct 1st for very extensive engine rebuild, update you guys on the work that gets done upon completion.

Default Nice car Matt

Almost a duplicate of mine.
2.3 with 87.5 manifold, 2.25 exhaust with Magnaflow, Schrick cam, lightened flywheel, balanced/blueprinted rebuild, Audi 90 rear disc swap, Team Dynamics 16" wheels, Yokohama Parada tires, Hawk Blue pads, 4kq front bar, Addco rear bar, Momo wheel and shift ****, Safety Devices roll bar, G-Force harness, Corbeau seat, H4 headlamps. Probably stuff I'm forgetting. Sort-of dyno'd at 150hp. Shown here at the 2002 Pagoda hill climb, Reading, PA. #821 is in honor of our amazing dog that died on that date two years ago.

Default A couple of them...

The Zermatt Silver one I still have. Its a 1985 4000S. Car has been in my family since new, and its in really good shape. Numerous parts have been replaced, I wont even name them all. Its an auto with all stock features, and everything works, including the AC. The only "mod" so to speak is the spoiler, which I got off ebay for a mere 20 bucks.
The blue car was my former 1984 4000S. Bought for too much and sold to break even. It was in even better shape than my 85. It had H4's, the Bosch Fogs, and was a 1 owner car before I got it. It was all original when I got it, and I sold it the same way. I dont really miss it, but the lighting was alot better.

Ahhh, my pride and joy, a 1986 4000CS Quattro Commemorative Edition. One of only 500! Bought from a fellow Audiworld guy in July for $700 bucks. Mechaically very sound, but does need some work. Its my daily driver and leaks NOTHING. Everything works but the power mirrors (switch bad), AC (needs recharge, compressor works), odometer broken (stopped at 200,199), 3 door handles need replacing. I do love the red leather, no matter what Dwight says . I find it comfy and people seem to like it.
Future plans for the car? Unsure, but I WILL get everything working and the car back to its good ol days. Im sure once I get garage space, more money and more tools, more modifications will come. Only ones planned for now are an upgraded brake setup, and hopefully by the end of next summer, new suspension setup too. Im already getting rims today, but they arent any larger in size. Radio setup has been improved though. Infinity speakers all around with a Blaupunkt deck (which gets here monday).
I love the car, enough said.

Default Hey MattKslr

Smooth coupe.

How do you shift like that?
I guess you have about a 1 inch throw at 90ft lbs.

Default My tornado red 87.5 CGT

I'm surprised! There aren't any red ones yet. This is a fun car, well-balanced. Has the following mods:
--swiss-cheesed air-box on cool side, sealed up on hot side
--High-flow cat
--2.25" pipe from cat straight through to rear-mounted Magnaflow
--Synthetic Redline gear-oil
--Bosch +4 Platinums
--'82 coupe center wheels caps
--20W50 w/ Lubro Moly anti-friction & German oil filter
--And my favorite mod so far, a new FRAM oil drain valve!

Future mods:
--rebuilt engine with superior, lighter materials.
--headers
--16x7.5" BBS deep-dish mesh wheels
--adjustable shocks
--sport clutch upgrade
--Euro headlights
--roof-mounted fuba antenna
--gauges galore
--custom moonroof with NO fabric seal!
--stainless brake lines
--electronic ignition
--mass airflow sensor

Dirty engine, but I'm working on getting it cleaned up. The interior is Black leather, in fairly good shape except fo a tear that goes across the drivers seat bottom, back seat is perfect.
5 Speed close ratio tranny, I have a wider ratio one in the basement but I like the quick shifts.
That's my 73 Bus in the background of the one pic.
