Default MC power gains?

I'm building up an old MC (86 5kt) to put in my 4kq and i was curious as to how much HP/torque you can get out of these engines. i've had it balanced, purchaced an all metal headgasket to put on it, along with high strength bolts. And the block/crank/head/pistons/ect all look pretty sturdy. So i would think it would be able to mechanically handle quite a bit. So what can you do with the fuel delivery, boost and ignition systems to maximize potential? what are the major limiting factors? I was thinking of puting a manual boost controller on it to up the pressure, and i've found a decent intercooler & H2O injection system to put on it and keep the charge cool. But how soon does the CIS reach it's limits and lean out? is it nessicary to replace it with an EFI system? also while i was at it is there any kind of MSD system you can use or adapt to replace the stock ignition system?

Default Hhat have you done to the head???

I think you can get a lot of power with out increasing the boost to much by changing to an "NF" head, 272 cam and port it......
You should ask "Toxcheap" on the 5k forum about boost and power.....

Default No, the pistons raise the comp, "NF" has bigger valves/ports....

Default Can also just fit the NF intakes to the MC head. BT, Doing That.

Otherwise you have to put the MC's exhaust valves in the NF head (sodium vs non-sodium).
