I just welded in a "rice boy" muffler inplace of the OEM one. Sounds awesome!

Well, I don't remember the exact measurements, and I don't have 4K, I have an '82 Coupe, but:

The stock exhaust system has two smaller mufflers. One center, one rear. What my broham and me did was replace the center one with a straight pipe, and use a center in/center out magnaflow for the rear. I honestly couldn't tell you the exact measurements of the magnaflow I'm using, but I'm pretty sure the one that I posted a link for is the one. Mine measures about 18" body length, 7inch width and 2 and 1/4 in/out on the pipes. It did fit and it basically bolted right in. However, we did weld and cut it all ourselves and used new exhaust hangers. We also welded the hangers in ourselves, so they are not in stock position, but they work. It doesn't hit anywhere and it sounds great, and as an added bonus you get a little (but noticeable) performance increase.

Make of this what you will.

Good Luck
