My '86 4KCSQ passed CA smog this week, yay.
Not that I expected any less.
The smog tech was like "It's a pretty old car dude, you may want to get it really hot before we test it..." I told him it was warmed up enough already (I had been driving it all afternoon)and to get on with it. I keep it tuned fairly well, so i figured it'd be fine.
Much to the smog techs chagrin it passed with a wide margin, no problems.

Did mine today....
Do they give you a printed out inspection report with the limits and tested values? I'm curious how they do it in CA and if they are stricter there. I'm assuming they did the 2500RPM idle test because of the AWD like here as well. (state ain't going to cough up the cash for AWD dynos thats for sure)

Yeah they did the 2500rpm test, and regular idle test.
I'd have to check what the maximum limits are when I get home, but yes they gave me a printout.
