Probably, but kind of a chavy look.
Check out a Eurospec CGT of the period.
Much more handsome bumper sets.
Shipping them to the US is stoopid $.
Still.....

You can also bring them (the diving boards)in by disabling the small compression cylinders built into them. I'll post a shot tonight.

Tore into the crap job of headlight wiring one of the previous owners did...5 relays, crappy crimps, wires soldered onto washers used as ring terminals, random wires not connected, melted wires, etc...

The car is apart. Going to tuck the bumpers while I'm at it too.

Noticed the plastic traces on the cluster needs repair too. I need a new cluster, unless there's an easy way to repair it.

Would it be easy to swap a digital cluster in? I think it'd be pretty cool.

Found this sitting in storage. Old Sony XR-7280 cassette deck with CD changer control, pull out deck, oh and the lighting is amber to match. Will most likely mold a Pioneer F500BT into the center console or something.

Were the early model 4kQ center consoles wider than the FWD models or was that just the later models? If they're wider, anyone have a spare pre-85 4kQ center console for a black/brownish dash?

Digital dashes have a high incidence of failures to one or more parts of the cluster. Enter at you own risk.

Looks like you're jumping right in. Outstanding, you braver than I am. I tend to do one little thing at a time until familiarize myself.

headlights work! headlight switch repaired. My buddy took the cluster home and is going to refurbish it since half the lights are out and the plastic traces are falling apart.

Next up is tucking the bumper, wiring the stereo and installing foglights. Anyone have a spare headlight switch with pig tails for the left side of the cluster you want to sell? Would really like an OEM switch for the fogs.

So the car hasn't really progressed much since my last update. Put the cluster back in. Need to fix the stereo and everything now. Not sure what I want to do with it anymore.

Anyone know how much a Coupe GT is worth on the used market? The body is straight with no rust.
