Default welcome. Headlight relays and q-script thoughts

You can see the headlights Austinado16 talks about on my car at the bottom of the page. This should give you a good idea of what they would look like on your car. There was a guy on the this forum selling a pair in good shape. I baught mine from him and am very happy. The stock headlights suck because they scatter the light, not aim it in one location. Here is the wiring diagram I used to wire mine. It's not as diffucult as it looks. You can buy all the parts to build your own harness at NAPA or Pep Boys.

As for the q script it is arguably the nicest interior these cars came with. If there heated there even more rare. I like leather, but you slide around the seat on leather, plus leather is usually ruined on a 20 yr old car.

Nice find! very few 4kqs came with body colored mirrors. I would like to see some interior pics when you get her home.

Default Re: Not a problem

Well, I read the article on the Daniel Stern Lighting website, and it turns out that my PIAA bulbs are actually 45/65 watts--so, fine to use in my Audi. The higher numbers (95/120) are not the actual wattages--just the equivalent brightnesses (and Daniel Stern feels that this is bunk, anyhow).

So yeah, I'll definitely plan on the Hella lights for an upgrade soon. Does anyone have comparison pics of OEM headlights compared to Hella headlights?

And what should I purchase in the way of wiring harnesses and relays? What website did you use, AudiSport4000?

Default Headlight harness

When I installed my Euro H4's I used SUVlights.com

I got a 9004 to H4 harness, I think. Pretty much plug and play and comes with relays!

I still haven't relayed my Euros. No problems so far, but I'm running the stock bulbs in them.

Hey. Thanks for all your comments and help. The wiring diagram is awesome.

So yeah, my Audi has the body-colored mirrors and rims, and it has the Quattro-script interior with heated seats.

My email program is in the process of sending you some hi-resolution images of the car, both inside and out. Keeping in mind that I have dial-up, it'll take a little while. But thanks!
