Default Stereo system upgrade

BTW, I went out and bought a new stereo system for my Audi. I bought a Sony Xplod CDX-GT51W deck, 2 of the 5.25" Sony Xplod 4-way (sub/midrange/dual tweeter) speakers for the back, a Bazooka BT8014 8" subwoofer tube for the trunk, and two of the 3.5" DB Drive DB350 speakers for the front. Any thoughts?

Okay, difference noted. Thanks.

Would you recommend the Cibies over the Euro Hellas?

Default I've got the little Sony Xplods in the dash locations and the 6-1/2's in the rear deck.

Hate how they look in the rear deck...way to cheese whiz for my taste, but love how they sound. If they had a normal looking black grille, I'd be very happy.

Cibies are the Euro headlights. I think Hella may have made them too?

Hey, Alpine 87.5,

The email with the photos was 69% done sending, BTW. But my dial-up connecion randomly dies and then resets itself about once an hour...so I had to start over. Sorry!

My current location is Connecticut. Come the end of the month, I'm moving down to northern Virginia.

Where are you?

And yes, I am an electrician. My father was one, and I apprenticed under him and then became a journeyman and then got my license when I was 16 (I'm 17 now). I don't do too much work...I mainly got the license in memory of my dad.

I collect ceiling fans, and so I do a lot of installs and repairs for people. I guess that that's the one thing I still do a lot of. Also, back in May, I volunteered for a few weeks down in New Orleans and Mississippi in the hurricane relief effort, and I rewired a bunch of houses in Pass Christian and New Orleans. But that's how I do things--I do big projects every now and then, for $$$, and a lot of pro bono ceiling fan stuff.

Thanks for your interest!
