Default I did a Seafoam treatment in my 4000S 1.8

You can actually add it to the oil in the crankcase AND the fuel in the gas. Just make sure you don't bungle the ratios. Lots of people on here seem to like it.

I've heard good stuff about the Seafoam, but haven't tried it yet. I will though.

Default Wooden shifter ****

So, what's up with the wooden shift ****? I thought that the 4KCSQ model was supposed to have a leather-wrapped ****? And I have NEVER seen a car before with a wooden shifter **** (albeit I have seen fake wood)...what's up with this?

Default I had a set of the Cibie's for a while, but they were from the UK, so they were beamed wrong for US

But, I thought they had better optics and they put out a better pattern as compared to the German Hella's I have now.

Default Good tires for rain and noise?

What would y'all recommend for tires for my '87 4KCSQ? I care most about performance in rain, and noise--I need one of those tire models that breaks up tire harmonics so that the road noise is reduced.

So yeah, quiet and good in the rain. What would y'all recommend?

I've got Bridgestone Turanza's. Super quiet and fantastic at speed in the pooring rain.
