It was in the mid teens last night temperature wise. Took a few tries to get the car started but it ran fine, but I had no heat for a while. Temp gauge moved up actually a bit quicker than usual, and I messed with the heat lever a bit. I figured the thermostat may have been a bit sticky. All ended up being fine though, heat started to flow and the temp went down. Kinda strange, hopefully it doesnt happen again

Can't say I've ever had a problem starting that car in the cold. Actually it surprises me that it fires right up on the first crank. Hopefully it goes above freezing today so I can get in the car without munching a door handle.

Will the little squeaze thing with floating ***** give an accurate reading or is that only for glycol based antifreeze?
