I was a volunteer there and they wouldn't let us in for love or money....seemed pretty much an "old boys club" and each plane had their vets that wouldn't include any newbies. That's why I quit.
One of our clients has his own airstrip and an amazing collection of flying hardware, including a Messerschmitt and a Spitfire - I contacted the crew of a B-17 for him to talk about bringing the plane up for a show. Man, I would love to go for a circuit in one of those beasts.
