Default im comin with the turbo 4k, i just need about 15 grand!

actually i think audi is trying to be too classy for that kinda riff raff. they should break down and strip all the excess weight out of an rs4, chop the price in half and sell it here. everyone at subaru would cry

Default So much power...

in such a crappy car. Same with the new Mitsu Evo. Audi doesn't bother with these guys, but wait until the B6 S cars get going. The S4 is going to munch on E46 M3s, and I hear the RS4 is coming to the states.

Default They don't even need to trim the RS4 to take that out.

IIRC, they're only a few hundred pounds off of each other, and the RS4 has a ton more hp.

Nice. Thats actually not much power from a 2.5L turbo. Only 300 hp. Seems like the Suby tuners should be able to get that up to 400hp without difficulty.

With the suspension mods and vast aftermarket support available to the WRX, they're a natural choice for the lower budget sports coupe. I think Audi should follow this example and get back to their rally roots. IMO, a resurrection of the 20V I5 w/ alloyblock would be pretty sweet. Get the car down to 3000lbs and they'd have something.

Default Thinking about a resurrection of the 20V I5 makes my mouth fill with drool...

Can you picture fresh I5's coming out of the factory again? Much less with today's technology, Audi could have a turbo version of that motor into an small coupe with flared fenders (read: a new Ur-Q)...one can dream...

Default but were still talking about a target audience of low budget hp junkies

ppl that buy maximas bc they have 255hp, forgetting that fwd sucks ***. regardless of what audi puts out, its gonna be double the price of what all these kids parents can afford.i dont particularly mind rooting for audi trying to be a step above but do you think they should try to be more active in the $20-30k range? even lamborghini is (regrettably) coming out with an "entry level" $150K mini murcielago. on a side note, that entry level lamborghini is rumored to run on 2 fewer cylinders than every previous one. as a die hard lamborghini fan, a V10 sounds like blasphemy
