The "Pikes peak" would be 3 to 4 times the cost of an STI and much much heavier. Calling that tank the pike's peak is ludicrous.
I think I speak for alot of Audi fans.
Give us a light fast car with an easy to work on engine that has alot of aftermarket mods available.

Just remembered does FSI work with 5 valves?
I remembered reading that Audi is dropping 5 valves so that can fit their injector.
Anyone know that link? or am I halucinating?

I think any hopes for a rebirth of the I-5 died...
With Piech stepping down...
I heard rumors that Piech was pushing for the return of the 20v I-5T for the last couple of years...
Too bad. I'd rather have a I-5T than a stinky 1-4T anyday. I ma not at all impressed with the 1.8t.
