Default To Paint or not to Paint.....

The salt water here is just eating my 4KS alive. What was once a perfect paint job in New Mexico, is now marred by peeling clear coat and blistering base coat. So here in lies my quadary, should I just strip the affected areas and repaint them in the original gold, or should I just stip the whole car and paint is Mars Red (like the old Ur-Q'S). I have access to a paint booth and everything, and I had success with painting my Fox GTi silver, however that was keeping it the original color, and not switching colors.

Default Color changes are tough

You have to pull the engine, and everything in the engine compartment, the whole interior (including the carpet) and the trunk liner and paint it all including the door jambs. Anything less is a total crap job and ruins any car. So, unless you're willing to do all that...stick with the stock color.

Default True, it makes it look cheesy otherwise.

I'd just respray the entire car the same color again.
