paint from paintscratch.com good for painting an entire car?
just wondering since they sell it by the gallon and they can match my rare Inari Silver color perfectly rather than eyeball it. is this just touchup paint that's not meant for an entire respray or what's the deal? thanks...
also, any ideas where i can get my color matched to factory spec? thanks!

81A4K4E I had a local auto parts store that handles body shop stuff...
...use a sensor on my dad's pathfinder to scan the paint and then a computer matched it perfectly and sold me 2 cans of the matched paint in spray cans. Matched perfect. So I would look for such a store in your area, maybe try a good auto body shop in your area and find out the store they do business with. In regaurds to piantscratch.com I don't know, but my buddie 85urq painted his entire 1985 Urq Mars red from cans of spray paint and it came out awsome. I'll post a pic of it.

I've used paintscratch.com for painting a portion of my hood on my 4kq...
I used the primer, paint, and clear-coat. The actual color was pretty dead-on; however, it looks slightly "duller" even with the clearcoat. Perhaps this is due to the fact that I only painted about a 6 inch portion all the way across the hood of my car, or perhaps because I used the spray can. Not sure if it's available in gallons. I am also tackling some surface rust on my rear quarter panel in the next week with my left over paint. Good luck!

and here it is finished in duplicolor's Tornado Red...

...It came out awesome. I don't know how he did it but it looks as good as factory. No spray marks (he wet sanded it a couple of times)what-so-ever. The funny thing is he didn't repaint red, the car was originally silver. Unbelevable but true. Might be a possiblity for the 2-door 4k.
