Default Partially back to CE status

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/21806/cepanel_002.jpg"></center><p>Since I sold my black leather door panels I had to put the CE ones back on. When I found them in the attic, 2 of them were in poor shape than when I originally stuck them up there. I dont think I will ever store them in the attic again. The drivers front panel isnt that good anymore, neither is the pass rear, but the other two are pretty nice. Maybe I can repair them, we'll see. Didnt take long at all to clean them up and swap em over. Gorgeous day to do stuff as well, it was in the 50's here and sunny.
Also been contemplating my next interior venture. If the CE seats dont work out, I may at some point turn to a tan interior. Anyhow, a picture of the nicest panel I have on the car.

Default Do you have the whole CE interior?

I actually swapped my script seats with my grey cloth seats and now I don't know what interior I like better. I think the grey cloth seats are great with the black scrpit cards. Anyhow I guess my question is are your seats Black leather? or red?

Default The car is a CE

It came with the red seats and door panels originally, but I swapped them out with quattro script back in 2003 or so. I still have the seats in the attic. Rear seats are in great shape, fronts, not so much, main reason why I removed them. The drivers was in horrible shape, passengers side wasnt too bad. I have 2 sets of red door panels. The ones on the car now I bought off a guy in Oregon years ago. The originals are in sad shape. I still have the quattro script seats in there right now. Not sure what direction I wanna go now. Go back to full red leather or snag some tan seats and door cards? I had also toyed with the idea of UrS4 seats, which could be done.

Default Re: The car is a CE

Did the CE only come in white? I've seen a Black 4000 w/CE interior. Looked very nice.

Default Two colors were available

Alpine White (with matching Alpine White Ronals), or Graphite Metallic. 1986 model year only, 750 Coupe GT's were built like it, and 500 or so 4000 quattros. No 4cyl 4000's came with the CE "treatment".

Default go all the way!!

The red looks sooooo good in a white car, but my opinion is slightly biased.

If you went to tan would it be leather or the quartz cloth??

Sorry about your bad luck storing them in the attic. Did you wrap them in anything?? When I woke my interior up from it's 10 year attic rest they were not wrapped and dusty as hell, but in good shape.

Default Yeah, that grey cloth

I really like it, but we'll see. It all depends on if I get my hands on those red leather front seats in Indianapolis. I could stick the red leather back seat in for now, though . I didnt wrap the panels is anythign, but they were in a box.
