Pulley squealing like crazy!!! How do I fix this???
Hey guys. I finally figured out which pulley is giving me all the noise! It's the one next to the alternator pulley. The center pulley when looking at it from the front of the car. When the engine is warmed up and especially when the engine fan is kicked on that pulley squeals like crazy! I grabbed ahold of the pulley (with the engine off lol) and it doesn't feel loose. And all the belts feel pretty tight. Here's a couple pics of the pulley. Thanks for any help!!!!!

JUst to make *sure* the the damper hasn't separated...
JUst to make *sure* the the damper hasn't separated, draw a line across teh rubber 'seam' of the front of the pulley. (Marker? Paint?)
Most likely your alternator belt loose though..!

Can you elaborate on this rubber seam please.
Where is the seam? Why am I drawing a line on it? What dampner are you talking about? Sorry for the noob questions, thanks for the info!

that pulley you have in your picture is your harmonic balancer AKA damper...
you can see a groove in about an inch from the outside, thats a seam filled with rubber that's holding the two pieces together. you draw a line across it to see if its slipping, ie if you see the line segments start to grow apart from eachother... although I'd bet you either need a belt, or to tighten what's there
