q for the day: what's the furthest you've ever driven?

One day: 1040 miles twice a year - Greenville, SC to Richmond, VT ... Road trip: ...
In the early 80's I spent 30 days driving "around" the country. Montpelier, VT to Dallas to San Diego to Seattle to Toronto, back to VT. 10,000 miles in 30 days, visiting family and friends. It was a fantastic trip, in a very comfortable '73 Volvo 1800ES (before my first Audi).
