Recaro Seats for my CGT

Now that the exterior is done, it's time to concentrate on the interior. I've got a non-airbag 90 Sport wheel on it's way the search begins for a shift **** and seats. The shift **** I want is a black leather & CF A4 ****. Anybody want to sell me one cheap? But the real question is on the seats. I REALLY want to use VW Recaros. They are simply gorgeous. I understand that some mods need to be done to the mounts to get them to fit my CGT. I belive the rails need to be heated then pulled out to widen them. Can anyone confirm this? Also, anybody have a good (read cheap) source for used VW parts? Are there any good/honest/fair/inexpensive recyclers like Force5?
TIA!

How much are those seats?
I found a Jetta w/ full Recaro interior this weekend @ a wrecker, but he won't sell just the seats.
They want $ 500 for the set (front & rear seats and all 4 door panels).
Can the Jetta rears be made to fit into a CGT?
Good price or not? Think anyone would want the rear seat & panels if I try selling on the net ot vortex or somwhere?

$500 sounds good for a whole recaro interior (more)
Even Force5 charges 400-500 for a complete leather interior (non-recaro). But I don't think the rears or door panels are usable by us...

Audi 90 Sport wheel?
Duane, are there any modifications needed to make that wheel workon the coupe? I also saw that some one had adapted an early 70's 911 SC steering wheel to their coupe. This begs the question on what was needed to do that as well? Just looking to spruce up my old car.

Yes, there is a mod to get it to fit. (more)

But it's not hard. You need to buy a new hub. The 90 Spoart wheel looks just like an S2 or S4 wheel but withyout the emblem on the bottom spoke. Anyway, these wheels use the same bolt pattern as a nardi or James wheel (but NOT the same as Momo), so just order a Nardi hub for your car, and put that hub on the Sport Wheel and it will work perfectly. Nar4di hubs for Type85 cars run about $65 from what I've seen.
