Ok... well ive been wondering.. I wanna kow which color to repaint my car. Stock it is graphite i guess? i thought it was gun metal?
SO anyway my choices are:
Graphite
Black
The Bmw X3 BLue
Or any other that you think would be sick.
Well place your bets...TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!!!
*ALSO! Can some one show me what graphite paint looks like new? Some one PLEASE post a pic, or link me up.. Thanks

Keep in mind that if you want matching paint in the engine bay, trunk, doorjams, and interior door frames it is going to be a whole lot more $$ to choose a non-stock color...
Whatever you choose, the color is secondary to the quality of the paintwork, make sure you have someone who knows what they are doing paint your car (no Maaco).
That said, if you're paint is in bad shape now, fresh paint will really transform the look of your car (I'm envious, wish I had the $ for new paint). Be sure to recoat the bumpers, mirrors, and whatever other trim you have at the same time to make your car really stand out!

And by doing it right, that means repainting the engine bay (removing engine, bottom of hood, door jambs, inside trunk lid, etc...nothing is tackier than a multi colored car...

Graphite is a great color for the body style. I'd spend the money saved on a quality prep job ie cleaning out dings and spot rust vs door jambs/trunk etc. The real question is what color do you paint the brake calipers, the valve cover, timing cover and brake booster... :-)
