Putting my dash backtogether from the second speedometer repair and I find my flasher no longer works. As the base appears to have separated from the case, I suspect i damaged it when disconnecting all the wiring. At any rate, my local parts emporium wants $24.95 and a special order for a replacement! They have some very similar appearing 3 prong generic electronic flashers on the rack, but they aren't listed for an Audi application. Is there anything special about an Audi that requires the high price unit?
