Default so i fixed the central locking system but....

i realized that having 3 keys is a pain.

i have 1 for the ignition (VW key, replacement ignition)
1 for the doors (supposedly the "master")
and 1 for the trunk (gone since i fixed the locks).

now in the manual it says only the master opens the trunk. however the one that opens the trunk doesn't open the doors and vice versa. ergo, neither one is the master.

my question is if its possible to find a complete set of audi locks (ignition, doors, trunk) and then re-core the locks that I have?

3 keys with big plastic tops is murder on my keyring.

why not just rekey the existing locks you have to the ignition key?
I just did this on my car- one key is a good thing!

the ignition is a vw key and i like the audi keys better. although i may do a switchblade in the future there's something special about a key that says audi. plus i think it would be easier to find a full set of audi locks with a premade key and just fit it to my car.
