Ok so the 7A head is the 20v NA head that will fit a 10vt(MC) block. Now the 3B or AAN head is the 20vt head. Right? Ok so it is not possible to mate up the MC block and the 20vt head due to low CR(6.0). Now the 20vt manifold bolts right up to the 20v NA head. Now the NF/NG block is the 20v NA block out of the coupe quattro. Is that right? Or is it the 10v NA? If I have left anything out please let me know.

No...NF is from the '87-88 5k/5kq or '89-91 100/100q. NG is from the '87.5 CGT and '88-92 80q. They are both 2309cc 10:1 CR 10v motors.
The 7A is a 2309cc 20v with 10.3:1 CR.
Everything else has been talked about before, just the more recent conversing neglected to mention what motor code the NA 20v was (in the USA and CAN, as there is a 2.0L 5cyl 20v made along with the 7A for markets that taxed engines over 2.0L. It was called the NM and developed 160hp DIN).

I would not get it due to the (assumed) rarity of parts for it. I am curious about its cams though, as they are different than the 7A's. Only a 10hp difference despite having around 300cc's less displacement.
