yes but Japan has what Audi does not.
In Japan if you keep a car over 2 years you pay the tax on it. if you sellit you do not. so Japn has a huge export industry of Used cars to New Zealand,,and Australia too ai think (also helps for they are right hand drive down there)

Fact is after 20 years the lemons are off of the roads are gone and its just enthusiasts(insane) people like us who follow a special mark.

Re: Yes but Japan has what Audi does not.
I agree on the Japanese reliability thing. I do think that the five cylinder engine and 4kq trannie is some of the most reliable out there. I've had 2 older hondas and they were great cars. So reliable, easy to fix, smooth running. I just can't get the "passion" for those cars though. I had a 1970 VW van that was always breaking, but I loved that thing....it had soul baby!!! It's about the soul!!

Re: But remember, at the end of the day you would have just another Rustang! : )
Thats the thing. I was just talking to a guy about the new Corvette today. He said, "oh man, the new Corvette is sooo nice". "It's way better than the older models". I say, "I five years, nobody will look twice at that car". I'ts still an 80's Transam
in my opinion. Lots of muscle, no soul!!

I believe that most american cars losts their "soul" in the late sixties early seventies...They used to have so much damn style I mean, the emotion the a 67' 427 vette evokes or an old caddy...maybe they just used it all up!

215k on a 1990 CRX Si original clutch, everything works...
Even the body is solid (rare on an old honda)interior looks like new. I cruise all day at 100+MPH and get 36 MPG. 85 mph in third gear and two more to go... She's bone stock and I will give it to my son this June when he graduates from HS!
