my 87.5 gt coupe starts and then stalls.or it will not start. fullpump relay replaced/new and i hear the fuel pump. is there another relay or something i can check? Car will not run for long if it does start.

When it dies, remove the coil wire from the center of the distributor, place it near the engine and see if you have spark during cranking. If you do, put the coil wire back in place and do the same test with a plug wire removed from a spark plug. Stick a screwdriver in the end of the spark plug boot, lay near the engine block and see if you have spark during cranking.

If you have spark, you know that's not the issue and you can move on to fuel, and to air.

To confirm fuel, crack the cold start injector fitting loose just a bit, crank it over and you should have spraying fuel the whole time. If it begins running, you should have fuel that entire time too. If you loose fuel and then it dies, you know what's up.

If you have good fueling, then make sure you don't have a torn intake boot or breather hose on the valve cover that are causing vacuum leaks.

So, let us know what you find out.
