It seems as if there is rotational play along the axis of the steering rack. I can grab the tie rod carrier and rotate it a little bit. I am guessing that is where the steering play on my 85 4kq is coming from. Is it possible to adjust the play out of the rack, or do I need a new rack, or is this perfectly normal? I seem to remember that this play is not present in my 87.
