does anyone know of some inexpensive lowering springs. my friend told me i should lower the ride height and i agree my car sits a little high but also my front suspension shocks or struts (whatever) are bad they don't asborb anything down a few roads where i live

Your choices are H&R or Eibach other than going to (expensive) coilover setups. Good, affordable struts are Boge Turbogas.
