Default That's not a turbo, THIS is a turbo.

Anyone have any info about this car? I was looking through the photo gallery on turbobricks.com and came across a gallery with this 4000 on it.
Anyone have any info on it? Looks like a real beast.

Default 16V I4 with a huge turbo?

Can you say LAG and no low torque? I'd bet our stock I5s make more torque below 3,000...

Default Lag, man that is a huge mechanical disadvantage..

..I bet my old '84 TD could wax its *** off the line. Imagine the energy that would be lost just trying to overcome the size of that bad boy off the launch. And the size of that I/C!!! I wonder what kind of boost he can run. He must have titanium head bolts to keep the top end in place!!

Reminds me of a fella I met that ice raced scirocco's. He said he'd plane so much off the head, the pistons had to be machined to allow full valve travel. He ran them at 16-18:1 (on alcohol) and used to wrap 2 lenghts of chain around the head to avoid catostrophic hood damage when it decided it had enough and would part. He used cobalt head bolts. Apparently, this happened quite often with his cars and he could change the head out in between heats!
