Well, with ONE more toy on its way (on a truck, coming from the west coast) I keep finding more tempting playthings.
Check out the link to the bike on eBay. That could be a lot of fun without taking up much space in the garage.
A two-door 4K such as mentioned in another thread would be a tempting project. I've been close to owning a 2 door 4K several times.
Maybe I should add that this isn't the best time for me to be buying more cars or taking on projects, since MY WIFE IS PREGNANT WITH TWINS!
Oh well. She is SO understanding.<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Other-Makes-RT200-3-1956-DKW-AUDI-AUTO-UNION_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6719QQihZ011QQite mZ320135695911QQrdZ1">http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Other-Makes-RT200-3-1956-DKW-AUDI-AUTO-UNION_W0QQcmdZViewIte

Man DKW...
A two stroker.
Looks good. It's only a year older then me![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I like the BMW style ignition key/headlight switch. All german bikes up to 1975 can be started with those.
Congrats on the twins, and good luck.

Congratulations on the "instant family"! Nice to get advance warning of such a happy event....so it is less of a panic when they arrive (I have NO CLUE how those people on TLC survive with more...)
Wow....now that would look excellent in your garage! You should check with DKW Geyer, though, to see that an RT 200/3 is not one of those DKW bikes that is impossible to get parts for (they have a list on their web site, under "parts availability"). You'd certainly create quite a stir everywhere you went with that bike - not to mention kill quite a few mosquitoes. The DKW RT 125 (little brother to the RT200 but with a paralellogram "springer" front end) developed prior to WWII was probably one of the most copied bikes in the immediate postwar era, with copies made by BSA, Harley Davidson and IZH as well as others....so a DKW bike _should_ be welcome at events for Brit, American or even Russian bikes.
...and you'll have to let me have a ride when I visit.....(just don't tell my wife)....
Cheers!<ul><li><a href="http://www.dkwgeyer.de">DKW Geyer</a></li></ul>

Steve, thanks for the info. on DKWs. If this one doesn't happen, I expect another will in the future. I have only had one bike, a '77(?) Honda Hawk. I did just buy a raffle ticket on a restored '63 Honda Dream. I sometimes think I should have gotten more into bikes than cars!
Thanks for the good wishes on the twins, everyone. It sure will be interesting!
Blewtoon: I'm not saying any more about the new car YET. I am picking it up tomorrow. After a few body flourishes, a wax, some VERY special wheels (also being picked up tomorrow), and a bit more of this and that, I'll post some pix. I'm very excited.
