Default Throttle response problem

I've had this problem ever since I have had my car, and now its gettin on my nerves. Ok, if my car is all warmed up even from driving all day. If the rpm's are at like 2 and i floor it the whole car will shake back and forth. And the same thing will happen if I rev it out(6250) or any rpm that is high. And give it alot of gas into second it shakes the whole car back and forth and like gurgles from the exhuast. Does anyone kno what could be causeing this?

THANKS ALOT!

Look for cracks in the intake air duct & check the plug-in on the distributor for being loose

Default sounds like a plug isnot fireing or

an injector not injecting.

Default Re: start with the basics................

do the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, fuel filter, etc. Also, check your vacuum lines. A vacuum leak can cause problems.

Default 2nd that! Had same problem this weekend....

Kept me from going to Norcal/Socal for lack of parts until Monday. Car was missing at idle and stumbling under boost. Turned out the rotor had fried and the distributor cap was worn badly too. Surprised me that it was running at all, since it was pretty much only the arcing on the carbon buildup keeping any spark going at all!

Check the basics first!
