Hi Everyone,
Trying to figure out what I'm willing to pay for this car:
1985, 5cyl, Quattro, 5sp, body = straight, paint = poor, interior = fair, 275k+ miles (odo not working), AC = not-working, original stereo = 1 or 2 channels working.
But...car is in good mechanical shape and is a well maintained daily driver. Current owner appears to be a dutiful DIY'er and has enough knowledge to earn my confidence. He owned a parts car and swapped the best of those parts (suspension, etc.) over to this car. Tires, exhaust, brakes, underbody all in very good condition. The car drives very well - just a slight drivetrain engagement clunk.
Any thoughts on a reasonable price/value? Thanks!
