Default Turn signal q's

Tonight on the way home from work the turn signals decided to take a break from their usual reliable function. A flip of the lever brings the illuminated double arrow, but no blinks. From outside, no lights come on.

Checked various fuses, none seem to be injured. The hazard flasher switch also seems affected, since it behaves just like the turn signals don't now.

Thoughts? Turn signal switch? Bad grounds? Bad Audi karma? Bad relay? Where is that relay?

BTW, everything worked fine on the way to work this am...

Yeah, I have had the same problem. What I have noticed is that in order for my turn signals to work, and for the dash light to not just come solid, I have to have the hazard switch in just the right position. I haven't swapped out the hazard switch yet, but that is where my finger is pointing right now.

Default Well

I tried the hazard switch out of the remaining parts car, no change. Where is the relay that controls the flashers? Is it under the dash?

Any other thoughts?

blinker relay is on the back of the instrument cluster behind the tach.

Check for bad grounds. Especially at the tail lights. Mine did the same thing.

Default And the answer is....

Taa-daa! The turn signal relay. I tried replacing the hazard switch (same behavior), checked the bulbs and connections, then swapped out the turn signal relay, and now it works fine.

Thanks for the feedback.
