Upshift indicator... why not?

Upshift indicator... why not?
There are few reasons your upshift indicator does not work...
- it's no longer on the car
- vacuum lines not connected
- vacuum advance on the dizzy is broken.
On three of my cars it was the last one that made it impossible for the indicator to work.
This will also affect your fuel milage, and power under load. Change the dizzy or the vacuum unit and it's back to normal operation.
Check it ASAP.
