Wam, ... bam... not what you think !- just a big hole in the 4th piston
Pulled the head and saw the damage...
valve left a hole the size of a small baseball in the piston- piston rod was dinged as well -quite a beating, conisdering the short amount of time the engine ran after the mechanic heard and felt the lack of power.
Not going to cry over spilled milk.
I guess I'm going to go ahead with the KG turbo engine - waiting for it to arrive from the UK. Will use the 034EFI from Europrice, and get rid of the CIS-E. I think this is a better set-up.
For all you guys with turbos- Any tips ? Any suggestions on what to check for and what to improve on the KG engine - mechanic will tear it down before installing it ?
