Default Weekend projects? :)

I am now able to post this :P

What are ya'lls plans for the Audi this weekend?

For me, I need to investigate vac leaks. Car idles around 1100 or so after its warmed up a bit, sometimes it wont restart after sitting for a few hours. I think I have a suspect intercooler hose. But Im gonna do a thorough inspection of many. Removing the oil cap doesnt stall the engine either.

I may toss on the snows too. Im getting tired of refilling my tires with air every week.

Also gonna rewire the cig lighter light so it works again.

I think thats about it.

What about you guys?

Default Im not too far from TN

JK!

Was gonna say "bring the 4000 and we'll tear into it and get it figured out".

I had pondered the Audi meet over in PA, but with the vac problems Ive been having I dont feel safe driving it that far.

Default Detail and photo shoot of 924S for sale . .

Full detail of the Porsche this weekend followed by a photo shoot by my professional photographer friend (who BTW owns an '84 VW Quantum TD that I helped him pick out . The 924S is going up for sale. Mostly because I have to have a sunroof car, and the Porsche mafia will kill me if I cut into the roof!

But no worries, once she's sold I'll be back on the market for a nice 924/944 with a sunroof, or Audi-gods willing, a really nice CGT with some mods .

What would Friday be without this thread, Mike!

Default Gonna try and come up with some door panel speaker pod designs...

For now I'll just sculpt them out of foam board. If I come up with something I like I'll make them out of fiberglass. Got a couple ideas I'm kicking around.

I might also go J'yarding again and get some different ideas for a deck lid spoiler. I've got the spoiler from the quattro parts car but I want to do something different.

Default Re: Weekend projects? :)

I'm finally down in Gainesville at the GRM 2007 Challenge. Ran the autoX today, hopefully hit the dragstrip tomorrow if the rain stays away long enough.

Then maybe a quick jaunt to Disney for a day or two on Sunday, as long as nothing blows up on the car.
