I found a trim piece (lower black chin lip) in the trunk of a 4k at a junkyard. I thought it was for a 4k so I picked it up for $5. Once I got home, I tried to test fit it, and it was too small, looked like it was for a Jetta. That was 6 months ago, yesterday I tried to fab it up somehow to my car.
To make it fit, I had to cut it in half. The gap was about 5", so because I needed to install my front plate, I decided to cover the gap with my plate.
I didn't have the complete lower grill, so it looked like *** to only have part or it there. So I ripped it out, cut all the little supports and installed some expanded aluminum mesh (rice-boy mesh) I painted it black and zap straped it into place. I like how it looks, I wasn't sure how it'd turn out. but not bad.
I also installed my front set of Boge Gas Turbos, now I have them on all 4 corners!![Big Grin](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Granted my front end isn't the prettiest to begin with, so ignore the non reflectors and paint chips.![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)

It's called "expanded aluminum", I believe it's used in building construction, to help plaster adhere to the walls. It came in a large sheet and was cheap, about $8.
I painted this one, but I think I may remove it and coat it with rubber rock gaurd or undercoating spray. Just so it won't chip.
