Default weird; 1984 bumpers on an 85 4ks

It says the car is from japan, and the bumpers seem to be original. What the hell does the "cc" mean on the trunk lid?<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Stunningly-Preserved-European-AUDI-80-cc-non-quattro_W0QQitemZ4580317498QQcategoryZ6055QQrdZ1QQ cmdZViewItem">http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Stunningly-Preserved-European-AUDI-80-cc-non-quattro_W0QQitemZ

Default Yup, different interior goodies too

Look at the dash and the dash switches! Id love to get my hands on that car, definately a unique one to have here in the states.
Very, very neat car.

Our running lights (U.S.) must be their turn signals...

Default It doesn't have 1984 bumpers, it's a total stripper "base" euro model "80"...

Even though they changed the front and rear ends in '85, they used the smaller bumpers with the sloping grill and lights.
I have the '84 euro bumpers and they're a little differnt than this car...

FYI - the seller has sweet cars. I'd seen his '86 Ur-q (1 of 3 imported) 1st hand &lt;drool&gt;

Default I hear ya, I guess it would be more of an econo model?

They had already implemented the "facelift" on the other models, I'm guessing this was an entry level econo model, for people who could't afford a 4000"CS" or whatever was the equivalent in europe...

Default Not 1984 bumpers... the "80" got those bumpes all the way through 1987

The Euro 80 got the small non-aero bumpers allt he way through 1987...only the "90" got the larger Aero bumpers that we in the USA got on the 1985+ 4000.
