Started my yearly thread on Motorgeek regarding Carlisle 2009. With some people already registering I couldnt resist getting the word out now so people could have more than enough time to request off

Default Its a fantastic time

Its about the people and cars. I didnt even have an Audi for the 2008 show so I brought my Rabbit. You should come, its ALOT of fun.
May 15-17th, Carlisle PA. The show we all go to is the Import-Kit/Replicar Nationals and we have been doing this since 2004.

http://www.motorgeek.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=24130#282282</a

Default You would enjoy it.

There's literally hundreds of different cars on the showfield, any import you might be interested in. You won't have to buy food, as we cook and Morgan manages things so that the participants each bring lots of foodstuffs. Camaderie is great, there's good beer, and the *occasional* beer-drinking assistive device....

And no problem with the Kia either.... there's camping [what I do] nearby the showfield so you don't have to drive off the showgrounds after the party.

Default This is correct

Started out with the 85 4k back in 1999. Owned that until the summer of 2006 or 2007, I forget, then I sold it to a friend who unfortunately treated it like garbage. Its now in a junkyard, but probably scrap.
The 84 4k I had only for a short while, sold it 4 months after I bought it.
The 86 4kq I owned from 2002-2008. Turbo'd it, made it my project/daily car. That was tough to sell, but it was something I was ready to do.

I now am leasing a new Rabbit and have moved to NC for my job. Getting life in order before I start tinkering again
