Battery is good, fuses all good ("spare" included)
It always starts rough when its cold, so i have to crank it for 15-30 seconds or so and pump the gas pedal and then it fires up, If I sit there and let it warm up for a minute or so then it's good and it'll run like a champ.
Today however I went out to my car, did the whole routine, it fired up for about 5 seconds then sputtered out. i repeated the procedure to no avail.
It turns over but won't fire, what could have caused this? It ran fine this morning...

Fortunately the old girl already has an appointment with the mechanic.
Unfortunately its not until may 5th.
Fortunately its only 2 miles way from my house, so if I can get it to start just tonight, then it can wait two weeks....
Is there a way to "force" it to start?

The relay is working fine if the pump is running. Check all electrical connections in the engine bay anyway. The hall effect sensor is a popular one to cause starting problems. The usual routine applies, check for spark and check for fuel.

ended up being the hall sender, but i put a new rotor, cap and slugs in and then the fuel system took a dump but it is running now
i never new those cap screws on the fuel distributor came off and under them where the fuel adjustments for each cylinder, it sure helped me
