Default Went to a local meet/cookout tonight

Our local VW/Audi club "cookout" was tonight. Pretty good time and turnout. Jeannie was there along with Martha and their Fox. A few B5 S4's and a B5 A4. Misc other VW's. I felt naked there without a car.
Anyhow, saw some cool things. The meets are held at the local dealership. One of the club members' dad owns the dealership, so he lets us hold meetings there. They had a new EOS out there, and we were told to mess around with it. I had no clue they turned into a covertible! A few button pushes on the center console and the roof slides back into the trunk, its really impressive.
Then I took a peek inside the showroom and spotted a 1991 BMW 850. Its black, 6spd, and had 52,000 miles. What a sweeeet car! Looked bone stock, down to the cool 80s looking wheels. Not sure how much they wanted for it. Sure is a comfortable car, though.

Just figured Id post that. Pretty fun night

Default Those may be the prettiest cars ever IMO

I love the CGT/URQ look, but the BWM 850.... make me drool each time I see them. Bummer most are auto...bigger bummer I think theryre too heavy for the track...

But hot looking..!!

Default It was fun last night!

A mild, mild evening out - that EOS had the option to come with a DSG tranny that would be neat - it sells for about $32k one guy said.

Good to see you again.
