That's what I heard too. Wanted to check though, thanks. Want to plug Megaparts.com, new favorite.

Default Bosal, but...

I had to replace the rear muffler on my 4kq, which cost me 250 bones for a genuine Bosal (OEM). However, you can get a complete cat-back performance Scorpion exhaust for about 350, mid muffler included. I kick myself for not getting it.

Default I have a Bosal...

cat back system on my 5000. Nice and quite and has shown no signs of rust in the 2 years I've had it on. Makes a nice replacement for the OEM exhaust IMHO.

Default I did neither

Had a system from the cat back custom made with a Magnaflow muffler, better construction than either of those two brands, great sound but not too loud, cost me around $250 installed I think.
Ansa is crap, they once made a really good product but it's been downhill since the 80s for them. Bosal is just oem type stuff, nothing remarkable. Scorpion system is overpriced...I've only seen it for the CGT for around $550...never saw it for $350, maybe it's discounted because they couldn't sell any at that silly price.

Default New BOSAL on the way from MEGAPARTS.com $68 expect it here in a day. That's how long last order took

online, just clicking. I used Blau a million times, this is faster for me in the NorthEast, thanks for replies.

Default Bosal IS the original parts manufacturer.

I replaced my rear muffler recently after 200k miles, and there it was...a Bosal muffler. Not too shabby.
