What oil do you guys use?
My oil light flashed for a second yesterday so I might have to add some. Been driving my A4 since then so I never got around to checking the level.

I just chnaged the oil in mine.
Went with 3 litres of 10w30 and 0.5 litre 20w50...then we got a cold snap. -20C with the windchill. Thankfully my block heater will FINALLY be here next week...order from Taylor Automotive back in October :-(
I think the consensus is go with the heaviest oil you can..given your climate. Reduces lifter racket. As for brand, whatever quality oil suits your fancy. I like Castrol GTX because it seems to have good detergents..just my opinion, not based in any real proof. Some people have strong negative opinions on Pennzoil..I have no opinion.
Some people also swear by adding some Marvel Mystery Oil...I've tried it and nothing blew up!!
