I have used Seafoam several times in the past. I personally think it is an excellent product. It can be useed in the gas to super clean the whole fuel system. It can be used in the oil to clean all the sludge out. And it can be used through you intake manifold to clean harmful deposits off of your valves and pistons. You will notice lots of smoke during this use it can last from fifteen minutes to 1 or 2 days. I personally use 2 full cans per tank of gas and have always had excellent results.

Default My friends and I have used it on numerous volvos

We put one can in the gas tank and suck up another can through a vac. hose before the throttle body. Dipping the vac hose to not kill the engine. Then rev like a sonabitch. Some times we'd kill the engine with the last little bit in the can and let it sit for 10-15 min.

Some times it makes the car idle a little better some have a lil more "oomf". Possibly grab a couple of mpg. Some cars it makes a SH*T ton of smoke. EXTREMELY entertaining, especially in a neighborhood.

It all depends how gunked up the intake manifold and topend are.

my 5cents.

I've seen no ill effects what so ever. Other than possibly pissing off your neighbors.
