What size socket to remove spark plugs?!

What size socket to remove spark plugs?!
I thought all plugs were 5/8? I tried 5/8 and it's too small. Looks like a 11/16 or bigger. My problem is I don't have anything larger than a 5/8 at home so I'm stuck until Monday. Thanks!

Re: 17mm? USe the end of the wheel bolt wrench in your spare tire kit.
Look inside.............there's a rubber o ring to trap a spark plug.
You have the tool with you all the time...........
if the kits is there..........

Ok I checked and I actually do have this tool!!!
And the rubber is intact!!! 
Now I have to figure out which plugs to use. I'll use the search function. Thanks alot guys!!!!
